Alaska Software - False Positives

Recommended Posts

I am a developer using Alaska Software XBase++.

With the June 29, 2012 update, I started getting MBAM interception of two files that are part of the runtime library for XBase applications (for over 10 years).

Assuming they might have been infected somehow, I let MBAM quarantine them and downloaded again from the vendors site.

Again, these were flagged as malicious. This is surely a false positive.

I have attached a zip file containing all the runtime modules and a jpeg of the screen shot after scanning again.

Thanks!

Hello NRamoundos,

None of the files attached are triggering a detection here.It is quite possible that the F/p has already been fixed.

Please can you update MBAM to the most recent database and see if there is still any false positives triggered present.
