Hi, i have just brought Malwarebytes Pro, which i will say is great, but i now i cant run Fsecure which is my antiV prog.

Can some one help me out.

Always, please state your specific version of Windows and whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit.

Run WINVER and tell us what it shows.

Now then, give some basics on what happens (what message) when you 'start' F-secure.

What anti-virus application was installed before you installed F-secure, was your subscription still current, and did you uninstall it before you installed F-secure?

Has a Norton application or other antivirus application EVER been installed on the computer?

Did a Norton free-trial or a McAfee free-trial [PICK ONE] come preinstalled on the computer when you bought it? (Doesn't matter if you never used or Activated it.)

Opps iam runnung windows 7 32bit.

F secure just locks up.

I have allways used f secure.

no norton runing.

If you have it going, kudos.

The reason for asking all the questions are two-fold: a) Previous security apps can leave behind traces that will interfere with the current antivirus.

b) Systems that have No antivirus, even for a very short time, can get (and do) infected in a heartbeat when connected to the 'net.

For anyone else that gets this fault, if F secure locks up, just shut pc down and reboot, than it will work.
