Hi guys,

My name is Dave and i have some major issues going on with my comp. Im hoping someone here can help.

Oh, and im not sure if it matters but i get an error screen saying "cannot access hosts file" when i scan.

I am noticing that my hard drive or cpu is constantly running even when i have no programs open or running. I also have a severe lag when trying to open or run programs.

check the task manager to see what could be running in the background i see noting.

Okay thank you. I don't believe this is malware-related but let's take a look.

First uninstall HijackThis.

Please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
