exploit.drop.9 still redirecting

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am following your instructions from here http://forums.malwarebytes.org//index.php?showtopic=9573. However, there was no Attach.txt file that was generated from running the dds. The only log that opened was the dds.txt file.

I ran your virus removal tool. It found exploit.drop.9, which I removed and rebooted. On further virus scans, no virus's are found yet my search results are still being redirected, which tells me the virus has not been fully removed. I have attached the dds.txt file. Please help.

Welcome to the forum.

Can you post the Attach.txt also.

Please remove any usb or external drives from the computer before you run this scan!

Please download and run RogueKiller.

For Windows XP, double-click to start.

For Vista or Windows 7, do a right-click on the program, select Run as Administrator to start, & when prompted Allow to run.

Click Scan to scan the system (don't run any other options, they're not all bad!)

Post back the report.
