Manco #1 Posted June 3, 2012 I realize Malwarebytes isn't optimized for windows 8 but I had been running it on the Consumer Preview with no issues. I installed the recent Release Preview got a couple of detections for Trojan.FakeAlert and was wondering if these are false positives. The first time I ran Malwarebytes was after I had installed Win8 RP and installed all my programs and I got the 2 detections. I decided to wipe the hard drive and start over and ran Malwarebytes first thing after I got a network connection and got the same 2 detections.I've also run Windows Defender,Spybot Search & Destroy and TDSS Killer and got 0 detections. Thanks in advance.mbam-log-2012-06-03 (16-34-08).zip
