MBAM crashes when scanning additional files

Hi, Thanks for your support in advance.

I have had the problem when i had to "Double click" twice to run an *.exe and i managed to dl and quick scan with MBAM but the application freezes just over scanning additional files. It however does not crash when scanning other parts, ", file system, memory, registry... it happens only when it is scanning additional files.

Hi Maniac and Thanks for reply, I have done all the things in the FAQ, safe mode, chkdsk and defrag but still it freezes when scanning additional files. If i unselect additional files from settings it scans just fine, however when additional files is selected it freezes scanning. It also freezes scanning in Safe Mode.

Okay, try to add the following folders in exclusions of Kaspersky PURE:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

C:\Users\DarkByPasseR\AppData\Roaming\Malwarebytes

C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes

Kaspersky PURE was always off when i scanned it, however still added to exclusion list and still MBAM freezed scanning additional files.

Is there a way to know what file its freezing on coz when it scans additional files it doesnt name them... Thanks for help
