Shadoan Posted May 27, 2012 ID:555237 Share Posted May 27, 2012 Hey guys, I am having the same trojan issue on my system. When I open firefox and attempt to navigate I randomly get stacked popups and errors and then sometimes it navigates to the desired site without issue. I have updated MB to current version and it finds Trojan.Dropper.BCMiner then asks to reboot, I proceed and upon reboot and running MB again the file is still found. Below are my latest logs.Database version: v2012.05.27.05Windows 7 x64 NTFSInternet Explorer 8.0.7600.16385GAMINGRIG[administrator]5/27/2012 12:50:12 PMmbam-log-2012-05-27 (12-50-12).txtScan type: Full scanScan options enabled: Memory | Startup | Registry | File System | Heuristics/Extra | Heuristics/Shuriken | PUP | PUMScan options disabled: P2PObjects scanned: 383763Time elapsed: 30 minute(s), 51 second(s)Memory Processes Detected: 0(No malicious items detected)Memory Modules Detected: 0(No malicious items detected)Registry Keys Detected: 0(No malicious items detected)Registry Values Detected: 0(No malicious items detected)Registry Data Items Detected: 0(No malicious items detected)Folders Detected: 0(No malicious items detected)Files Detected: 1C:\Windows\Installer\{1ce9f9fa-ca5c-34fc-d77d-5b96a89b3bcd}\U\00000008.@ (Trojan.Dropper.BCMiner) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully. Shadoan Posted May 30, 2012 Author ID:555931 Share Posted May 30, 2012 Thank you for repsonding Tate, I resolved the issue a short while ago by performing a system restore that was saved a few days before the virus was contracted. After a few MB scans the file seems to be gone with no apparent operating issues any longer. If you need any details to assist with future issues of the bug I would be happy to post my logs just before completing the system retore and I can give a symptoms run down?
