MEE along side Forefront Endpoint 2012

Hope this is the right place.

So I am researching using Malwarebytes active protection feature for my firm and I am trying to drill into research that I am not finding easily. Here is what I have:

Currently my company is using McAfee as anti-virus protection. McAfee also has its trojan, malware protection embedded into it, but its restrictions are out of control and too tight for our needs so it remains disabled. Obviously there is a gap there that we are trying to fill and I am trying to fill it with MEE and ForeFront Endpoint 2012. We are still piloting Endpoint Protection within our department during investigations to the programs capabilities and inabilities to try and make sure, before we give it to hundreds of users that this will be our best solution. So basically what I have tagged onto this trial period for Forefront Endpoint is testing our Malwarebytes anti-malware solutions through MEE. The questions that I have is what is it going to fill the Windows Defender doesn't? What impact will this have on end-users computer experience? Oviously being a corporation we have a constant need for working within Office suit products along with Adobe, CaseLogistix and a slew of other law specific products. I have to drill down and figure out what works well with these while not inhibiting the users experience at the same time, and given those users hate computers already. Tough world, right?

So with that being said, anyone got any good suggestions on reading material or stats?

That being said, I can answer your above questions. MEE has been tested and works fine with MS ForeFront 2012, so there should be no problems there. As for filling in for Windows Defender, ForeFront does that because it, like Microsoft's consumer offering, Microsoft Security Essentials, includes detections for everything that Windows Defender does in addition to viruses and other threats.

What Malwarebytes Anti-Malware will offer with regards to securing your clients is primarily protection against the latest 0-day threats, that is, new threats in the wild that most other security products fail to detect. That is what we specialize in more than anything else through the use of advanced heuristics detection methods and our malicious website blocking mechanism which blocks the source of infections, namely the servers that host infections themselves which are used for drive-by downloads and malicious advertisements (malvertisements).
