How do I fully remove pup.bundleinstaller.oi?

Recommended Posts

Malwarebytes found pup.bundleinstaller.oi on a full scan yesterday and removed it afterwards. A new scan hasn't turned anything up, but I've heard of others who still had issues with it after it was "removed". How can I be certain that pup.bundleinstaller.oi has been fully removed from my system?

Note: I'm running Windows XP Professional 2002 Service Pack 3

Welcome to the forum, please start at the link below:

http://forums.malwar...?showtopic=9573

Post back the 2 logs.

<====><====><====><====><====><====><====><====>

Next.......

Please remove any usb or external drives from the computer before you run this scan!

Please download and run RogueKiller.

For Windows XP, double-click to start.

For Vista or Windows 7, do a right-click on the program, select Run as Administrator to start, & when prompted Allow to run.

Click Scan to scan the system (don't run any other options, they're not all bad!)

Post back the report.

Please just post the logs in...no Spoiler

And why isn't there an Edit button for posts?

You'll have to ask administration that question.

---------------------------------------------

Lets check for any rootkits......

Please make sure system restore is running and create a new restore point before continuing.
