searchnu/406 removal help Urgent.

Hello, this is my first post on this site as I have ran into a problem. I have downloaded iLivid and now I have the searchnu/406 browser highjacker. Can some one please help me remove this virus step by step? I do not know anything about computers . All help is greatly appreciated.
