Recommended Posts

I couldn't have explained it better, SO, I copied and pasted the below, as it is what has happened to my computer.

I downloaded DDS,sr and ran it got both the DDS.txt and the Attach.txt files and when I tried to post them here, Well my computer rebooted and I lost them.

Hi

I , Last week learned about this stupid virus .. Likely because it popped up and disabled my entire system. I used my good comp to find this forum and download Malwarebyes to use. In the beginning it helped and my system seemed to be running fine for 5 days. All of the sudden this thing is back and this time it's wiped out all of my files on desktop and startmenu. I've run the Malwarebytes full scan in both safe mode and normal mode and it's not finding anything . The S.M.A.R.T Repair screen is still up and so it about 23 system messages at a time that say

"A Write command during the test has failed to complete. This may be due to a media or read/write error. The system generates an exception error when using a reference to an invalid system memory address."

23 of those at a time. they take up the entire screen..

HELP!

Hello and :welcome:

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:

  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.

[*]Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.

[*]A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.

[*]Notepad will open with the results.

[*]Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.

[*]Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.

Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

Thanks, I got it fixed through email with the help desk, and it was awesome. Bob went beyond his call to duty and worked with me with great patience and my computer now works better than it did even before I got the virus.
