Hi,

Several days ago, my computer was infected by the Win32.Zafi.B virus/trojan. When dealing with this, it looks like about a month ago it was infected with TDSSserv.sys. It looks like I have a TDSSserv.sys driver, which is currently disabled but appears to change back to enabled. The first Malwarebytes scan found the following:

I have tried to locate and delete all the files related to these two issues. In the registry, there several keys that I can't delete but there may be more. They are:

Please uninstall ALL versions of JAVA and Uninstall Daemon Tools while we clean your system.

Windows Recovery Console

will allow you to boot up into a special recovery (repair) mode. This allows us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware. It is a simple procedure that will only take a few moments of your time.

Once installed, you should see a blue screen prompt that says:

The Recovery Console was successfully installed.

Please continue as follows:

• Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
• Click
  Yes
  to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.
  
  
• When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.
  
  
• Please post the

  along with a
  new HijackThis log

You can close this topic. I am no computer expert and believe I am in over my head with what I think I would have to do here. Someone else built this computer for me and I did not want to start uninstalling programs. I decided to go the route of reformat and reload. I appreciate your help and I am sorry if I wasted anyone's time.
