IP-Block - Is that a malware?

Hi,

I test the program anti-malware. Now I have got IP-Blocks. The Log-file says that:

Hi,

thanks a lot. But why is the process name skype.exe in the first lines and not avp.exe? Is that normal? And when I want to open the IP 78.26.179.62 or I ping ip 78.26.179.62 I always get the IP block.

a question. Is that a dangerous situation for me. I don't have understand if this is now dangerous or not. Is skype the program which contacted the IP?

Yes, Skype contacted the IP address. It won't harm your computer. Skype is a P2P (peer-to-peer) program, meaning it contacts many other IP addresses to make connections from all over the world instead of specific IP addresses every time you use it. That means that blocks like this can easily occur with Skype because it might connect to an IP address that is blocked, but it's harmless when this happens.
