Malware/Virus problem

Recommended Posts

I'd appreciate some assistance with an issue i'm having with my PC.

I was browsing last night when my hard drive seemed to kick into life, I recall a pop up re McAfee and I may have clicked something I shouldn't.

Now McAfee isn't operating correctly, when I try to run a scan I get an Ordinal not found error related to scan32.exe.

Also if i'm browsing i'm getting diverted to other websites.

Initially I tried removing and installating McAfee with no joy, removed IE also but it's hijacking firefox too.

Tried a system restore, that hasn't helped the issue either.

I've ran Malware bytes, its found a couple of viruses and i've removed them. Had to do this a few times after a reboot until it found none.

The problem still persists.

I've attached the requested log files.

Again I appreciate any assistance you can provide

Welcome to the forum.

Please remove any usb or external drives from the computer before you run this scan!

Please download and run RogueKiller.

For Windows XP, double-click to start.

For Vista or Windows 7, do a right-click on the program, select Run as Administrator to start, & when prompted Allow to run.

Click Scan to scan the system (don't run any other options)

Post back the report.
