mbam pro not starting up with windows

so i updated to the newest mbam and the first thing i did upon reboot was to turn mbam from delayed start up to automatic well when i turned the computer back on later mbam wasnt started even thought it was showing part of it self in the taskmanger(mbamgui was in the task manager).

when i checked event viewer this was listed their:

File System Filter 'MBAMProtector' (6.0, ‎2012‎-‎03‎-‎20T12:04:48.000000000Z) has successfully loaded and registered with Filter Manager.

what exactly does that mean iv never heard or seen of this before.

on further checking of services mbam was set to delayed start again iv changed it back to auto.

but anyway my main question is what is mbamprotector

That Event Log entry is simply the driver being installed (mbam.sys). After the first reboot post-install, the service will indeed be reset back to a delayed start. The same happens whenever you access the scheduler.

aah alright thank you. i just dont recall ever seeing that so i thought i would ask.

i do recall you mentioning to me before that going into the scheduler sets it to delayed.
