max22 Posted March 23, 2012 ID:536926 Share Posted March 23, 2012 I keep getting the alert that SUMo is Adware.Rkn but it is the nork version (sumo_nork.exe). I get the same alert for the lite version too (sumo_lite) which does not have the adware at all at least from what I seen. Can this alert be changed at least for the lite version ?Not sure if this really is a false positive or not but it seems like it is.

David H. Lipman Posted March 24, 2012 ID:537279 Share Posted March 24, 2012 For Malwarebytes to determine if this is a False Positive or a justified detection, you have to follow their directions. I posted that link to; READ BEFORE REPORTING A FALSE POSITIVE!but it is not being followed so here is the pertinent text in that link...Before reporting a false positive, you need to save a log in developer mode. This will allow us to figure out how the false positive came to be. Simply follow these directions.1. Click the Start Menu.2. Click Run.3. Type in "mbam.exe /developer", without the quotes.4. Run the same type of scan you did before and save the logfile and post it.Additionally, please attach the file with your post. Make sure it is in ZIP or RAR format. The file is needed or action can't be taken.
