PandoraNumari Posted February 2, 2009 ID:52840 Share Posted February 2, 2009 Ok, here's what's been happening. We've been getting a IE error box telling us something like win32 or something was in error, and asked if I wanted to send an error report. I say no, don't send. Then I get a square box that has a 1 minute countdown that says something is in error and it's gonna shut down the computer. My boyfriend says that it mimics the Klez.b virus, but may not actually be it. We've been hard shutting down the computer when the countdown appears, and it's been at random so far. We've scanned with AVG, Malware bytes, and Ad-aware, both in safe mode and normal, and they aren't picking up anything anymore. My boyfriend has had something similar that actually ruined his computer, so I'm trying to get this out FAST if I can. Thank you for any help you can give.~~~Hijack this log-Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2Scan saved at 2:32:03 PM, on 02/02/2009Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600)MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180)Boot mode: NormalRunning processes:C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exeC:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware\aawservice.exeC:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXEC:\Program Files\Winamp\winampa.exeC:\Program Files\Webroot\Spy Sweeper\SpySweeperUI.exeC:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Album Starter Edition\3.0\Apps\apdproxy.exeC:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTTask.exeC:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exeC:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exeC:\Program Files\HP\HP Software Update\HPWuSchd2.exeC:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\Reader_sl.exeC:\PROGRA~1\AVG\AVG8\avgtray.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exeC:\Program Files\AIM6\aim6.exeC:\Program Files\DNA\btdna.exeC:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exeC:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqtra08.exeC:\Program Files\Belkin\Nostromo\nost_LM.exeC:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.4\program\soffice.exeC:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.4\program\soffice.BINC:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\AppleMobileDeviceService.exeC:\PROGRA~1\AVG\AVG8\avgwdsvc.exeC:\Program Files\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvc32.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\HPZipm12.exeC:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Common\ViewpointService.exeC:\Program Files\Webroot\Spy Sweeper\SpySweeper.exeC:\PROGRA~1\AVG\AVG8\avgrsx.exeC:\PROGRA~1\AVG\AVG8\avgnsx.exeC:\PROGRA~1\AVG\AVG8\avgemc.exeC:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqimzone.exeC:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqSTE08.exeC:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\Product Assistant\bin\hprblog.exeC:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgcsrvx.exeC:\Program Files\AIM6\aolsoftware.exeC:\Program Files\iPod\bin\iPodService.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exeC:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exeC:\Program Files\Webroot\Spy Sweeper\SSU.EXEC:\Program Files\Skype\Plugin Manager\skypePM.exeR0 -
