Problem with svchost.exe trojan

Recommended Posts

I've had this item pop up on my malwarebytes scan, and even after removing, and restarting, its still coming up. I'm also having google redirect issues. I have seen where these issues have affected others, but rather than just assume that the same thing will work for me, I was hoping that someone could give me some insight and advice on exactly what to do. I believe that I'm attaching the right logs that I'm supposed to, but if not, I apologize in advance. They are below

==== End Of File ===========================

Again, sorry if this was not what I was supposed to post. Thanks in advance for any assistance that can be provided.

I hope I'm not commiting a forum faux pas by replying to my own thread, I was just wanting to ensure that I had posted the correct logs, and done what I needed to to make it easier for somebody to potentially help me. Basically just wanted to make sure I just needed to hold on and be patient waiting for help. Thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
