Real-Time updating

When I schedule a real-time updates, the default is to repeat every 5 mins. and it works. If I change it to repeat every 30 mins, then it never updates.

Please explain this problem.

With real-time updates, is the minutes of repeat how often it check for new updates?

Thank you for the explanation and help. I am posting your analysis below for the benefit of others:

"After looking at your log files I can see that you switched from 15 minutue updates to 5 minute updates on the 13th. Before that the Malwarebytes program was updating every 15 minutes +/-15 minutes. It may not appear that it is checking every 15 minutes due to a change in the scheduled that came with 1.60. When version 1.60 was released Malwarebytes changed the way the updater works so that it will update at the scheduled time +/-15 minutes. If you set it to exactly 15 minutes this can cause the program to update ever 1-30 minutes. As the log shows, the program has been updating when set to 15 minutes.

You can set it to 15 minutes or 5 minutes and either seems to be working without issue on your computer."
