Malicious IP

Recommended Posts

Only from our website hosted by dreamhost does a warning come up from either Malwarebytes or Norton stating that a "potentially malicious website has been blocked."

Here is what the Malwarebytes log shows:

I thought it might be 'just me' but then the same IP is blocked on my home computer when trying to access our church website however Norton blocks it completely and will not allow the site to open at all.

Suggestions??

I have run the Malwarebytes scan but nothing shows.

Thanks!!

Hello rmweavil and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums!

Are you getting these pop-ups when you attempt to visit a website or are you getting these even when you are offline? It looks to be the same website and if you are trying to access. If you wish to access this website you can simple add this address to the ignore list and Malwarebytes will no longer block access to this IP address. In order to do this, follow the instructions below.

1) Visit the website/trigger the IP address block in question.

2) When Malwarebytes blocks the address, right click on the Malwarebytes icon in the system tray.

3) Mouse over "Add to ignore list" and to the side you will see the IP address of the website in question. Click on the IP address and Malwarebytes will no longer attempt to block access to this website/address.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
