Unable to remove Smsrt Protection 2012 using MB

Hello, I'm a new member. My computer is infected with Smart Protection 2012. I've followed several 'fixes' including MBs, but when I scan with MB the program finds nothing, nor do any of the other anti-malware programs I've tried. I've been running in Safe Mode (Windows XP Pro) because Smart Protection 2012 won't allow me to do anything at the regular desktop. I'm not sure that I'm skilled enough to try a manual removal. Can anyone help me to get rid of this malware?
