Even once a week would be better than the current situation where the only manual update I can find (http://data.mbamupdates.com/tools/mbam-rules.exe) is almost 2.5 months old!Is there any real reason why manual updates are not well supported? Firefox Posted February 20, 2012 ID:528628 Share Posted February 20, 2012 Hello and I am not on the Malwarebytes staff so I can not answer as to why the mbam-rules file is not updated regularly, but I can however point you in the right direction on how to get the latest definitions. exile360 Posted February 20, 2012 ID:528640 Share Posted February 20, 2012 The reason we've not been keeping it up to date over the past few weeks is due to the fact that it is currently incompatible with 1.6x versions of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, but we are working on a new version of mbam-rules.exe which is compatible with 1.6x versions which should be out soon. Its not often that I need a manual update, but when I do its always an emergency.
