Updating Malwarebytes while standard user.

Hi,

I recently noticed that when logged on as a standard user into Windows 7 I could not update Malwarebytes although I could run a scan. I tried running as administrator from the standard user acct.

I wanted to set my wife's computer up so that she is a standard user. It isn't likely she would go to the admin acct so I was concerned if the malwarebytes could ever update. We are using the free version.

If necessary I will try to go in and update it periodically for her but I thought perhaps you could tell me if it will not update when using it as a standard user.

If it's the free version then no the limited user account cannot update it. If it's the paid Pro version then it has a scheduler that will allow it to update even with no one logged on.
