I have Malwarebytes Pro, and recently it started throwing "Unable to contact server" errors when attempting to download updates. The update box would appear, but then it just hung and had to be killed with Task Manager. The only thing I'd changed lately was installation of "No-Tracks" connection management software from no-tracks.com, so I uninstalled it and Malwarebytes resumed normal behavior. I don't know exactly why they don't get along (there are no messages from either program complaining about the other) but they do not play well together.

Hello SJDunham and Welcome to the Malwarebytes forum.

We are currently looking into the problem and trying to replicate this issue. I will need you to run OTL so that I can everything I need in order to make sure that the test is as close to your computer specifications as possible.

Please Download OTL to your Desktop:

To Use OTL:

Get OTL From http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/files/file/398-otl-oldtimers-list-it/

Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.

OTL should now start. Change the following settings

Change Drivers to All

Change Standard Registry to All

Under File Scans, change File age to 30

Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.

When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt (first run only). These are saved in the same location as OTL.

Please attach these 2 files in your next reply.

Thank you.
