How do I stop Malwarebytes free edition from starting at startup?

Recently updated Malwarebytes free edition. Now the program starts at startup, and I cannot find the option to disable this. Under the "Protection" tab, where I would expect to find the option to disable this option, all I have is the "Start Trial" screen, with no option to decline.

Any suggestions?

Have you received a prompt for the trial ending?

I did not start the trial for the paid version. I merely updated the free version of the program.

[AdvancedSetup]

Just download and run the following file to fully remove the program.

mbam-clean.exe

Then reinstall the program but do not accept the Trial and all should be good to go.
