I scanned my computer with MBAM and it found nothing, I had Database version: 1708 at the time and it found nothing. Then I clicked update after the scan an let it up so scanned again an it found this.

I let MBAM remove it an let it reboot like it said. After the reboot I scanned again and it found nothing, should I be clean now if it's not a FP?

Thank you for posting! I feel so much better knowing I'm not the only one, should we wait for a reply before we let MBAM take it out of quarantine an back to where it was.

I recommend you not to trust eSafe. eSafe is one of the antivirus software that generates most FPs. On the basis of the results of Virustotal I would say that this is FP. PC Tools is the antivirus program that doesn't detect many viruses/threats, this is one of the reasons I can not believe it.

Based on the date of the system file (and all of the other system files having the exact same time/date), I figure all XP systems have this file and the newest Malwarebytes definition is flagging it for everyone. Only those who are knowledgeable enough to investigate these things will catch it as a false positive and come looking for answers here.

Too bad Malwarebytes only sends out new definition files once a day. A lot of folks are going to let the program remove this file without question. As a tech, I just hope that its loss doesn't cause any big problems. I'll probably add this file to the list of stuff I check on house calls so I can put it back if needed.

Updated and then restored the file that was in quarantine, an scanned after doing that and it all came up clean. Thanks for the quick replies guys, you guys are so fast when it comes to fixing FPs.

it says it removed it but everytime i scan it it keeps coming back up

Yep, that's not a false positive.

If you're having Malware related issues with your computer that you're unable to resolve.
