eraserhead Posted February 7, 2012 ID:524476 Share Posted February 7, 2012 I am fixing a friends XP machine. Initially unable to run MWB until I used Chameleon. A number of infections were removed. Also ran both Avast boot time scan and later ran AVG off a Linux boot CD with some results.The machine runs much better, but IE, FF, and Chrome still are redirected to unwanted web sites.Ran dds, but took much longer than 3 minutes and never generates log files.Ideas?In the meantime, I am removing pagefile and system restore to take them out of the mix.Thank you.
