Should key logger/ spyware programs such as eblaster not be detected by malwarebytes... as this could have far greater reepercussions depending on who installed it on your pc.

I am running 1.50.1.1100 yes there are newer versions, but should the updates not include new malicious or possible malicious software for that matter.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Two things can be happening here. If its a legitimate commercial keylogger we may not detect it on purpose. It could be used by parents and businesses legally. Also using an old version of malwarebytes will not allow the new techonology in the database to be decoded correctly and some items may be missed that would be detected with the latest version. In my opinion, commercial keyloggers should be detected by MBAM... but I don't think that they are, and I am not trying to stir that pot.

I love MBAM Pro and wouldn't want to run my computers without it.

If you are interested in a program that does detect commercial monitoring programs, you might consider SpyReveal (the old SpyCop). Current SpyReveal database contains detections for 765 commercial keyloggers.

PS - SpyReveal definitely detects eBlaster by SpectorSoft.
