Succesfully blocked access to potentially malicious website mediaget.exe (IP address nd Port number supplied)

Hello, I am new to this forum and forums in general so i hope I am doing the right thing by posting a new topic! of course let me know if not!

My problem was highlighted with the message from a malaware scan yesterday saying that "C:\Users\RichardL\Downloads\MediaGet2.exe (PUP.BundleInstaller.MG) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully." (see log attached).

This morning I started to receive the ballon with the message "succesfully blocked access to a potentially malicious website "IP number" (different each time) mediaget.exe then a Port number (again different each time)"

I have run the dds.exe and the two logs are attached. I note a scan by AVG professional and another by Malaware shows no problem also I cannot find any reference to mediaget.exe in a program search.

Any help is much appreciated.

Your problem is comes from the BitTorrent component - MediaGet. It seems you don't have BitTorrent anymore. There is some other problems too. Don't worry!

Download OTL to your Desktop

• Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
  
• Please tick the Scan All users. Next, click the Quick Scan button. The scan wont take long.
  
  • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
    
  • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time and post them in your topic.
