trudyjh Posted January 31, 2012 ID:522188 Share Posted January 31, 2012 I bought antimalware PRO awhile back and always have it running while my laptop is on.When I had the free version I ran full scan a lot, but I pretty much stopped doing that once PRO was installed, thinking it would catch anything the scan would detect. Possibly a mistake.Once a day or so I see antimalware update itself. This morning it said there was a new version, so I let it install that. Then it said the database was 17 days out of date (I guess the new version was packaged with an old database?) so I updated that and then ran a full scan.It reported two things, and I can't see anything on the web saying what they are:Vendor PUP.BundleOffers.iiqCategory FileItem C:\System Volume Information\_restore{F632489B-16E2-4DC3-9ADC-CD222E949B4A}\RP55\A0037919.exeThe other was the same except the end of item was \RP56\A0038314.exeAny ideas?Thanks. Maurice Naggar Posted January 31, 2012 ID:522203 Share Posted January 31, 2012 Hello Trudyjh,MBAM tagged a couple of "possibly undesirable programs" (or indications thereof) but the location is in some old system restore points.They are not active and are out of the way.
