I bought antimalware PRO awhile back and always have it running while my laptop is on.

When I had the free version I ran full scan a lot, but I pretty much stopped doing that once PRO was installed, thinking it would catch anything the scan would detect. Possibly a mistake.

Once a day or so I see antimalware update itself. This morning it said there was a new version, so I let it install that. Then it said the database was 17 days out of date (I guess the new version was packaged with an old database?) so I updated that and then ran a full scan.

It reported two things, and I can't see anything on the web saying what they are:

Vendor PUP.BundleOffers.iiq

Category File

Item C:\System Volume Information\_restore{F632489B-16E2-4DC3-9ADC-CD222E949B4A}\RP55\A0037919.exe

The other was the same except the end of item was \RP56\A0038314.exe

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hello Trudyjh,

MBAM tagged a couple of "possibly undesirable programs" (or indications thereof) but the location is in some old system restore points.

They are not active and are out of the way. Over time the old sys restore points will be overwritten (go away).

You should not be overly-concerned.
