I have three peer-to-peer networked computers, each running XP Pro SP3 and each with the latest version of MBAM installed. All three give the message in the topic of this post when trying to run MBAM but give no other indication of being infected. I have followed the procedures outlined in "FAQ-Malwarebytes' Anit-Malware won't run or failed to resolve my issues" and still get the "encountered a problem" message when trying to start MBAM. MBAM will install and update on each computer but will not run. DDS.txt and Attach.txt logs are attached from one of the computers. Thank you.

In researching this issue further, I found a post where a user was experiencing similar symptoms and was able to run MBAM by doing a fresh install and NOT updating before scanning. I tried a fresh install without updating before scanning and MBAM ran fine on all three machines. How do I update without impairing MBAM's ability to scan? Thank you.
