Infected with Redirect Virus... can't bust it, Please Help!

Recommended Posts

I am currently infected with a nasty bit of malware that I cannot seem to get rid of. It is definitely a redirect virus that is to this point immune from malwarebytes, avast and GMER, all of which I have run several times. I have Avast running and it will not let me open any websites that are searched through google. When I type the url in directly, I am able to operate.

I have received 3 or 4 blue screens of death and my computer is pretty unstable. I thought I had it beat but it just keeps coming back!

If there is anyone out there than can assist me, I would be very appreciative. This is on my work computer and it is creative havok for me.

Thank you,

After running GMER again, this is what was returned:

GMER - http://www.gmer.net

Rootkit scan 2012-01-24 09:21:04

Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3

Running: nt1fxcuk.exe; Driver: C:\DOCUME~1\FRONTD~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\fwlyipog.sys

---- Files - GMER 1.0.15 ----

File C:\Documents and Settings\Front Desk\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\~archive.pst.tmp 0 bytes

---- EOF - GMER 1.0.15 ----

Logs will be closed if you haven't replied within 3 days

Please don't attach the scans / logs for these tools, use "copy/paste".

DO NOT use any TOOLS such as Combofix or HijackThis fixes without supervision.

Doing so could make your pc inoperatible and could require a full reinstall of your OS, losing all your programs and data.

Please run a new MBAM scan being sure to update before scanning.

Post the scan results

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
