As the title states, I updated my malwarebytes a few weeks ago, and posted a topic here, and was informed the trial on the software was reset back to 2 weeks for non paying users, however, my software is locked at 13 days trial, and it never depletes, I've never used any bootlegged version of mwb or anything of the sort, but the trial days refuse to drop down, it did in the initial period of 14 days, but after the 14 it restarted at 13 days and has never dropped since.

I have access to the real time scanning and ip blocking, but any normal licensed tool like scheduling is locked out to me as it greets me with "this feature is only available in the licensed version" I'm also greeted with "no trial is available for your version of this software" upon clicking the start trial button, I have reinstalled the software to make sure it wasn't just corrupted, but no dice, the trial is deadlocked at 13 days.

Any insight on this issue? thanks ^^

Hello and :welcome:

Please do the following which should correct your issue:

  • Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here
  • It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important
  • After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here

    • Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version
    • Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.
Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it.
