Virus removal on a machine that won't boot?

I trying to help a friend who's machine has a virus-corrupted file and won't boot except to the Startup Repair - which fails. Is there any tool I can use to get at the virus? She's running Win 7, her machine didn't come with an install disk, she never made a recovery disk, and there are no restore points.

Please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
