Find out what is causing the IP blocks

Recommended Posts

I'm constantly getting messages about MalwareBytes blocking access to certain IP addresses. The IP changes all the time.

It started when I put a secondary drive in my computer to recover some files from it, and it was infected. So I think somewhere I have malicious software on my computer but I haven't had much luck getting rid of it.

I have the free AVG client, PRO MalwareBytes, and free Spybot. All of them I've at least weekly updated and run full scans, and cleaned everything they found. Today I finally ran the ComboFix program, and it did clean some files, but I'm still getting berated with messages about IPs being blocked. (The message indicates that it's both incoming and outgoing access as well)

Is there a way to find out what is attempting to access those IPs? I thought it may have been uTorrent, but I've added that folder to the ignore list and it's still happening.

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
