Smart Protection 2012

I am running the latest version of Malwarebytes PRO and it is not detecting a rogue antivirus program called Smart Protection 2012. Smart Protection 2012 did not allow me to run the dds.scr or dds.com. In both cases the roque antivirus blocked and reported that the files were infected. Task Manager doesn't work. Access to internet immediately links you to a porn site. Manual removal using techniques of Smart protection 2011 doesn't work. What next to solve the problem of removing this virus?

Please advise if your issue has been resolved.

If not, what is your Windows version?

What is the name & version of your antivirus? and is that functional?

Do you have handy access to a clean system nearby ? (so that you can maybe shuttle tools back & forth)

Can you use Windows Explorer:

If on Windows 7/ Vista, navigate to C:\Program files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Antimalware\Chameleon

If on Windows XP, navigate to C:\Program files\Malwarebytes' Antimalware\Chameleon

and from there run winlogon.exe

If yes, copy & paste the MBAM scan log
