Smart Protection 2012 Removal

Looking through forums, can not find removal tips for Smart Protection 2012, I find tips on Smart Protection 2011. Latest version of Malwarebytes doesn't seem to notice that this rogue application is present.

Anyone else seen this current virus masquareding as antivirus software?

I personally have not seen this infection.

Since you are infected, here are the steps needed to get your computer cleaned....

Please read the following so that you can begin the cleaning process:

Don't use any temporary file cleaners unless requested - this can cause data loss and make recovery difficult

You have 3 Options that you can choose from as listed below:

• Option 1 —— Free Expert advice in the Malware Removal Forum

OPTION 1

As we don't deal with malware removal in the General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum, you need to start a topic in the

Malware Removal forum so a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have.

• After posting your new post, make sure under options, you select Track this topic and choose Immediate Email Notification,

Hey jostb

Im experiencing a huge pain in the ass with this aswell

Seems to be that new of a threat that they're no remedies to remove it as of yet?

Im scanning it AVG and Malwarebytes and no matter how many times it says it removes the threats - they regenerate upon reboot.
