Haleo Posted January 17, 2012 ID:517781 Share Posted January 17, 2012 We are going to see if you can update in safe mode with networking. Below are instructions on how to boot into safe mode with networking.Restart your computer. When the machine first starts again it will generally list some equipment that is installed in your machine, amount of memory, hard drives installed etc. At this point you should tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with the Windows Advanced Boot Options menu.Select the option for Safe Mode with Networking using the arrow keys. Then press Enter on your keyboard to boot into Safe Mode with Networking. You should then be presented with the Windows Login screen. Log in to Windows and when it prompts you about Safe Mode and asks if you'd like to continue click Yes.Once at your desktop go ahead and launch the Malwarebytes program and attempt to update. Once you have attempted to update, you can restart your computer to go back into normal mode.If you do recieve the same error, download the attached file to your desktop. Once downloaded, right click the file and select Extract Here to unzip the file. Once it is unzipped, right click the file named Ipconfig.bat and select Run as Administrator. This will create a text document on your desktop named ipconfig_mbam.txt. Please attach the results to your reply via PM.ipconfig.zip
