Registry errors after running MB and removing windows 2012 security

Hi There,

My computer was infected with the Windows security 2012, so I ran Malware Bytes which found it and quarantined it. After that i could no longer open any executable files .exe, including malware bytes. I tried to go into safe mode as administrator and they still will not open. I cannot do a system restore as that will not open. I am perplexed and would appreciate any help with this.

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Please download exeHelper from one of these two places:

http://www.raktor.net/exeHelper/exeHelper.com

http://www.raktor.net/exeHelper/exeHelper.scr

Save it to your Desktop and run it. When it finishes, restart your computer and see if you can run .exe files now.
