Question about Mawarebytes and Trojanhunter

Hello,

I hope this isn't the wrong thread space, if so, feel free to tell me. I haven't been able to find any info on the pairing of Mawarebytes and Trojanhunter. Does anyone know if the two play well together? I know MB seems to get along well with quite a few others but I don't know about TH.

Any insight would be helpful thanks.

I don't know for certain if the two work together or not, but I see no reason why they would not as Malwarebytes does indeed work alongside most other security products. I assume the same is likely true of Trojanhunter since it, much like us, is not an antivirus, meaning they likely expect users to also run antivirus in conjunction with their own protection, which means that they have likely designed their product to be able to safely coexist with other security solutions as well just as we have tried to do with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

I just purchased Malwarebytes for the first time. I was looking at TrojanHunter and Malwarebytes for possible purchase. I'm wondering why one would need both products. So my question is, "If I have Malwarebytes, how would my computer be safer if I also purchased TrojanHunter?"

We can't really answer that as we're not the makers of TrojanHunter. You'd probably be better off asking at a general security forum such as Wilders. There are several topics in that area about TrojanHunter.
