rriso Posted January 28, 2009 ID:51344 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Hello,I just installed Microsoft critical update for the net framework 3.5.When I opened Firefox, it informed me an add-on was installed.When I looked, I saw the following:Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.0I have been unable to get a clear description of what this is or what it does. Also, I am unable to uninstall this add-on. I found a few sites stating how to delete this, but they were inconsistent on what to do and required a lot of registry modification.Anyone have any idea exactly what this does?Should I leave this alone?Thank you.
