Infected mbam keeps giving runtime error 13

I have a serious infection telling me my system has everything from trojans and worms to critical harddrive read errors and such. I started up in safe mode, with no problem. Mbam won't scan properly, stating that a runtime error 13 'mis typed' has occured. Chameleon doesn't work either, having tried all the options laid for me. This is my first real problem with mbam and require help. dds logs and attachments are included. I refuse to access the internet with an infected computer, but have another console and a flashdrive to keep up with the forums and anything I may need to use. Thanks for your help =)

Welcome to the forum and sorry for the delay....there's so many people who need help and very few of us to help...we do the best we can.

Please download Farbar Service Scanner and run it on the computer with the issue.

  • Make sure the following options are checked:
    • Internet Services
    • Windows Firewall
    • System Restore
    • Security Center
    • Windows Update

    [*]Press "Scan".

    [*]It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.

    [*]Please copy and paste the log to your reply.



Please download and run RogueKiller.

Choose 1 to scan the system

Post back the report.



Please download OTL from one of the links below:

Save it to your desktop.

Double click on the icon on your desktop.

Click the Scan All Users checkbox.

Push the Quick Scan button.

Two reports will open, copy and paste them in a reply here: (or attach them as .txt files)

OTL.txt <-- Will be opened

Extra.txt <-- Will be minimized

The scan will take about 10 minutes...depends on your hard drive size.

I may not respond until tomorrow.
