gailee Posted January 9, 2012 ID:515167 Share Posted January 9, 2012 Running win 7 sp 1 and mb 1.60 0 1800. It locks up my system at a certain point every time running a full scan. A quick scan runs fine. When I put the main folder (windows/winsxs) in the ingnore list, a full scan will run. The first scan was a quick can resulting in some infection and cleared that. Had already run tuneup util and spware & virus scan, chkdsk was on my mind but forgot to do it. MB would not complete a scan in safe mode. I had to run chkdsk twice before it finally ran a complete scan in normal mode. Chkdsk did find an error in the folder where it always hung up!
