I am running window 7 professional 64 bit. I somehow got a whitesmoke toolbar on my firefox browser. I uninstalled from program files, ran mbam and it came up clean. The toolbar is not on my firefox anymore, however whenever I type in something like "gmail.com" instead of opening the page I get "http://isearch.whitesmoke.com/?babsrc=home&s=web&as=0&isid=9848&q=gmail.com%2Faccounts%2Flogin" in the address bar and the page is basically a search of "gmail." I uninstalled firefox thinking that all I needed was an uninstall/reinstall and when I opened chrome the same thing happened. It does not seem to have affected IE. How do I get rid of this?

    [*]Press "Scan".

[*]It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.

[*]Please copy and paste the log to your reply.

Last.......

Please download OTL from one of the links below:

http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/OTL.exe

http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/OTL.com (<---renamed version)

Save it to your desktop.

Double click on the icon on your desktop.

Click the Scan All Users checkbox.

Push the Quick Scan button.

Two reports will open, copy and paste them in a reply here: (or attach them as .txt files)

OTL.txt <-- Will be opened

Extra.txt <-- Will be minimized

The scan will take about 10 minutes...depends on your hard drive size.
