Is Pro purchase for just one year or is it for life? Is there a multi-purchase discount? What is benefit of back-up cd?

Welcome to MBAM.

Consumer licenses are limited to 1 license per computer, but they are "lifetime" and transferrable.

IOW, any 1 license can only be installed on 1 computer at a time, but it can be moved to a different computer, if need be.

There are also discount prices for multiple licenses.

You must purchase the minimum quantity, shown in the left-hand column, in order to qualify for the discounted price in that row.

The backup CD would potentially allow to install MBAM to an infected computer which had no internet access (although both the program version and database version would be outdated).

The CD is certainly not necessary, as one can always download the most current program version from the internet, so long as you have access.

(Always be sure to write down and store in a safe place your license ID and key info that you will receive from the reseller, Cleverbridge. That way, if you ever have a major computer meltdown or need to reinstall your MBAM PRO, you will most easily be able to register it.)
