is "Dropin Savings" in a Malware? How can i remove it?

Hi,

Whenever I want to buy a something with Firefox, a dropin savings windows opens up. It is not listed under Add-On and extensions. That alone would qualify for a Malware for me. Is it possible for Malwarebytes to detect and remove die software? I was never asked never asked if i want to install the software - I would be very happy if i can delete/remove the software !!!

It looks to be a form of adware.

I am not qualified to determine whether or not it is malicious, but it was reported to MBAM engineers a while back:

Having said all that, some consider this to be an infection, and it's possible you might have other malware on your system.

So, it might be a good idea to have one of the malware removal experts assist with checking and cleaning your computer, if needed.

We cannot work on malware detection/removal in this part of the General MBAM forum.
