Need help removing malware - mystart.incredibar hijacked my browser

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I randomly saw a bunch of installers running in my background while browsing using Chrome. All of a sudden my computer shut down. When I restarted chrome, it opened the browser to mystart.incredibar.com and now redirects my searches to that. I did a google search for how to remove, but wasn't confident in my abilities to remove the right things and end the correct processes. A quick scan and deep scan of malwarebytes produced no results of the infection being there despite it running. So, I'm turning here. I appreciate your help!

Hello jagged27,

Would you advise if you have resolved your issues or if you have sought help elsewhere?

If not resolved and you are not already seeking help elsewhere, I'd like for you to rerun a new DDS and Copy & Paste the DDS.txt into a new reply.

Anyone other than jagged27 who has similar issues, do not reply here. Start your own topic.
