I installed Malwarebytes

I downloaded the free version from

http://malwarebytes.org

and installed it however, when I double-click the icon nothing happens. The sundial shows next to my pointer for just a split second then disappears.

I uninstalled it and re-installed it again, double-click, nothing happens.

I was wondering if anyone knew the solution as to why it's not starting up. Is something preventing it?

Thanks in advance.

-----------------

I tried uninstalling it using mbam-clean.exe and reinstalled it but still does not work.

Please read the following so that you can begin the cleaning process:
