Hi -

Every forum or blog I log onto with my XP usually has advertising at the side or top or bottom.

But on the Windows 7 Toshiba Satellite laptop there are no ads, even on Yahoo email, just spam as always.

Do I have a security setting too high or have I clicked a wrong setting ??

Now even SAS finds NO tracking cookies after a full scan, which is unusual - -

While searching sites for answers to my Malware school program, the XP always has about 20 Tracking cookies to delete.

The laptop never has any. Both use I.E. alone, but the laptop has I.E9, while the XP has I.E.8 these days.

Any other ideas -

Thanks -

This is as close as I come to advertising at Yahoo mail site - -

Default Level is Greyed Out in both these settings

I have attempted to reset these at other times -

Thank You -

Hi, you were doing this in Win7 right ?

On my machine > under Internet Options > Security Tab > Reset all zones to default level; looks normal, with the exception of Default level, which is Greyed out.

> Privacy Tab > Default > looks normal.

What do your settings look like on both of these tabs ?
