MajorGeeks is a legitimate site to get MBAM.What is the complete name of the rogue you got, if you can remember, or if it is still showing up on your system.In any event, I'd highly urge you to get expert guided help to remove the rogue.Please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete.
